Choosing a Collaborative Provision Partner: Trust Over Price

Deliver training through a collaborative framework and you hand over a lot.

What you actually hand over

  • Learner names
  • Client details
  • Course dates
  • Documentation

Much of that is unavoidable. Good governance and certification depend on it.

But in doing so, you are also trusting another organisation with something considerably more valuable than paperwork:

Relationships you may have spent years building.

And that deserves some thought.

The cheapest cert can be the most expensive decision

Certification fees are easy to compare.

A few euro per certificate. Line them up. Compare the numbers. Pick the lowest.

But the certificate fee was never the whole number.

One good client can represent years of bookings, referrals and repeat training.

The value of that relationship can dwarf a small saving on certification.

So perhaps the question isn’t simply what does a certificate cost?

It is also:

What am I trusting this organisation with?

Four questions worth asking before you share client information

  1. What happens to the relationships you bring into the partnership?
  2. Is information provided for training, governance and certification treated accordingly?
  3. Are the professional boundaries clear?
  4. Does the organisation understand the difference between supporting your client and becoming part of your commercial relationship with that client?

You probably won’t find the full answer on a price list.

Every organisation can say the right things.

What matters is what happens in practice.

Ask the instructors already there

One of the best ways to understand how an organisation behaves is to speak to the instructors already working within it.

Ask them.

Instructors talk.

Where UFAS stands

Our position is simple:

Your clients are your clients.

Information entrusted to UFAS is handled in connection with delivering, governing, supporting and certifying the training within our framework.

The commercial relationship you have built remains yours.

Your learners are different

When a learner enters the UFAS framework, we accept responsibility too.

  • Their assessment
  • Their certification
  • The standards behind their training
  • The support surrounding it

We don’t step away from those responsibilities.

That is the distinction we believe a good collaborative partner should understand:

Your client relationship remains yours.
The learner becomes a responsibility we carry together.

We have worked on that principle since 2023.

And you don’t have to take our word for it.

Ask our faculty.

Price is the easy part

Our certification fees are now €10 across all courses and all faculty.

And even after reducing our prices, we would still tell an instructor:

Don’t choose a collaborative partner on price alone.

A few euro per certificate is easy to compare.

Trust isn’t.

Professional boundaries aren’t.

Behaviour isn’t.

Because ultimately, you’re not only choosing who issues a certificate.

You’re choosing an organisation that may have visibility of relationships you spent years building.

Judge a partner by how it behaves

So don’t judge a provider only by what it says.

And don’t judge it only by what it charges.

Judge it by how it behaves when you trust it with the relationships you have built.

Since 2023, we have kept building, improving and listening.

And we’re only getting started.
