UFAS PHECC certification fees are now €10 across every course

Certification pricing is usually the first thing an instructor compares when deciding who to deliver through. It is the easiest number to line up side by side. From October 2026, that number is simpler at UFAS.

Every UFAS PHECC certificate is now €10. Every course. Every faculty member. No conditions.

The new UFAS pricing in full

  • PHECC certificate: €10
  • PHECC blended learning, First Aid Response (FAR): €25
  • PHECC blended learning, First Aid Response Refresher (FARR): €15

There is no tiered rate, no volume threshold and no separate price depending on which course you are delivering or how long you have been with us.

Why the price has come down

This is not a promotion and it is not a loss leader.

Since 2023, a lot of people have trusted UFAS with their learners, their businesses and their reputations. One thing we have always wanted UFAS to do is make recognised training simpler, faster and more workable for the people actually delivering it.

That is why so much time has gone into our app and into improving the way certification works behind the scenes.

The process is now more efficient, more accurate, more responsive and faster.

Because that has reduced our own costs, we are passing the saving on.

In PJ Carroll’s words: “The price has changed, but the standards haven’t.”

What has not changed

This matters more than the figure.

  • The governance has not changed
  • The standards behind the training have not changed
  • The support you get has not changed
  • Our commitment to the people who work with us has not changed

A lower certification fee is only worth something if everything behind it holds. The reason the fee came down is that the system got better, not that anything was removed from it.

What this means if you already deliver through UFAS

Nothing changes in how you work.

You register courses the same way, through the same app. You submit the same documentation. Your learners are assessed and certified to the same standard.

The only difference is the amount on the certification line.

The new rate applies to every faculty member. There is nothing to apply for and nothing to negotiate.

What this means if you are weighing up a provider

If you are comparing collaborative provision partners, €10 per certificate is an easy number to put beside the others.

Our honest advice is the same as it was before the price came down: do not choose a partner on price alone.

Price is easy to compare. Trust, professional boundaries and behaviour matter long after the certificate has been issued. A certification fee tells you very little about how an organisation will treat your learners, your documentation or the clients you bring with you.

So compare the number by all means. Then ask the instructors already working within the organisation what it is actually like.

Since 2023

UFAS has been working with instructors, faculty members and training providers since 2023.

The direction has not changed: better systems, better support and better value for the people who put their trust in us.

Lowering the certification fee is one part of that. The app, the turnaround times and the support behind it are the rest.

To every faculty member who has been part of the UFAS journey since 2023, thank you. We would not be where we are without you.

And we’re only getting started.
