VDU / DSE Assessment Course

Course Description:
Our VDU/DSE Assessment course is designed to ensure employers' compliance with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) guidance, whether in office or remote settings. The course aims to raise employee awareness of their physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being while working. Each employee will receive detailed ergonomic recommendations to enhance their workstation setup, reducing issues such as back pain and ensuring DSE compliance.

Who Should Attend:
- Employees who use VDU/DSE as part of their regular work in offices or at home.
- Individuals who work at a desk station for one hour or more continuously each day.
- Individuals working from home.

Course Objective:
The objective of the VDU Assessment is to identify potential risks associated with incorrect use of VDUs, including strain on the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and wrists resulting from poorly designed workstations. Through professional VDU Risk Assessments conducted at individual workstations, the likelihood of developing these risks can be significantly reduced.

Assessment:
Our expert assessors will evaluate each workstation individually and provide a detailed report. The assessment will consider environmental conditions, including the workstation area, chair, screen, keyboard and mouse, lighting, temperature, ventilation, noise levels, electricity and fire detection, communication setup, and general health arrangements.

After the assessment, our competent VDU assessors from Edmart Training & Consultancy will offer practical advice and guidance aligned with HSA guidelines to address any identified issues and improve workstation ergonomics.
